Chipinge soccer League Concept.
Introduction:
The Chipinge community faces numerous challenges, including high levels of unemployment, poverty, and substance abuse among youth. To address these issues, we propose the establishment of a soccer league that will provide a platform for young people to develop their skills, learn valuable life lessons, and gain access to education and job opportunities. Our organization, NCD, is dedicated to promoting the development of young people through arts, culture, and education. In partnership with Equity Axis, we believe that sports have the power to transform lives, and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow and succeed.
The proposed soccer league will be open to young people aged 15-17 from disadvantaged backgrounds. The program will focus on developing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of participants, while also providing access to education and career guidance training. We aim to create a positive and supportive environment encouraging young people to pursue their passions and reach their full potential. Our experienced coaches and mentors in the junior teams will work closely with participants to help them develop their skills and confidence, while also providing guidance and support outside of the soccer field. Equity Axis will provide its valuable insights through its understanding of financial enterprises and companies to educate participants on trending jobs advising the youths on what academic path to pursue for them to break the cycle of poverty.
In addition to the soccer league, we plan to establish a network of community-based programs that will provide access to education, career guidance, and healthcare information. These programs will be tailored to the specific needs of the Chipinge community, and will be designed to address the root causes of poverty, unemployment, and substance abuse. We believe that the proposed soccer league and community-based programs will have a transformative impact on the lives of young people in Chipinge. By providing a safe and supportive environment, we can help young people develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to succeed in life. We seek funding to support the establishment and operation of the soccer league and community-based programs. With your support, we can make a real difference in the lives of young people in Chipinge, and help to build a brighter future for generations to come.

PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY
This project is meant for the professional training of young people in football sporting activities and for career guidance. The program shall be a continuous process of identifying, training, building capacities, and causing sportsmen to participate in national events. The Junior League shall host local and provincial youth tournaments, conduct training in sports-related education, offer coach training courses for coaches, host seminars for sports marketing and branding as well as operate a sports apparel shop which is all income generating. Academies in Chipinge currently play on an ad hoc basis with each other with no proper league arrangement.
